With a history spanning more than 130 years, the Wiener Waldhornverein is the oldest association of horn players in the world. Highlights of the past few years have included joint concerts with the Tokio Wienerhorn Verein and the Vienna Horns of Scotland in the Musikverein in Vienna, a celebratory concert on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Japanese-German Horn Club in the old library hall of the Theresianum in Vienna, performances in the great hall of the Wiener concert hall, the Schubert Church in Vienna and the Rhein Abbey, as well as several concert tours to Scotland.
